For enthusiastic graduates with a good quality degree, MasonBreese offers two early career routes: either Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
Training in either the Change Academy or Data Academy provides a practical and high-quality route to true technical competence. The combination of an exceptionally competitive package, close personal mentoring, a lively social network, dedicated training – online and classroom based – and client engagement, deliver the best graduate training programme available.
MasonBreese offers Academy positions in London, the Channel Islands, Edinburgh and the Isle of Man. Where opportunities exist, MasonBreese staff are able to relocate between these sites.
Every Academy member has a dedicated learning plan, online access to the eLearning materials needed for their study, a personal mentor and a great network of colleagues who will help wherever needed. Some learning is delivered in the classroom – particularly in the softer topics, where workshops are run by senior subject matter specialists.
Both programmes are made up of a number of modules covering four key competencies:
Business Analyst’s deliver the core and critical elements of a change project. From communications, gathering requirements, documentation, managing solution design and testing, through to implementation, a BA is engaged across the full range of business stakeholders. Armed with a well-honed skill set, diplomacy and energy, the BA is the key to successful change.
Learning to become a professional Business Analyst with MasonBreese is an exceptional opportunity to launch a business career whilst earning a competitive salary. MasonBreese is a leading trainer of Business Analysts.
You will be assigned your own personal mentor who will be there for you when you need them throughout the programme.
The MasonBreese Data Analysts are Data Scientists in training. Typically to succeed you will have a strong interest in technology and data, a reasonable level of numeracy and a strongly enquiring mind. Our Data Analysts undertake a two-year programme of training which provides solid and robust basis in understanding databases, the latest associated technology, exposure to and training in the data languages of the moment – along with some essential business skills. We have a stimulating environment, where machine learning, artificial intelligence and predictive analytics are the focus, helping clients to develop meaningful data management strategies and to unlock the latent value in their data sets.
A typical engagement now looks well past the recent legacy of data visualisation (though those tools remain important), moving on to projects where increasingly rich and modelled data sets drive real business actions – often in wholly automated solutions.
All members of the Data Academy are enrolled in the Microsoft Power BI User Group (Jersey), which has a vibrant membership and is led by MasonBreese.
The Data Academy curriculum covers a logical progression through the essential knowledge required to work with databases, data architecture and the Business Intelligence stack. Once a solid knowledge of these areas has been established, Data Analysts move on to the exciting world of Data Science. Much of the curriculum includes Microsoft certification, with recognised qualifications gained along the way.
Entering the employment sector after university can be daunting and confusing. The MasonBreese Change Academies are the ideal way to continue your professional development whilst earning a competitive salary.
You will become part of a dynamic, vibrant team with access to a diverse range of businesses where you will learn how to become an effective Business Analyst or Data Analyst. Both the Change Academy and Data Academy offer the perfect opportunity to develop your skills whilst learning within a professional environment. With the guidance of a personal mentor throughout the programmes you will be fully supported during your two years and given all of the tools required to excel in your chosen career within the Change Management or Data Management industry.
