The Role

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the role of the COO is to oversee the organisational effectiveness of the firm as well as being responsible for the ongoing operations and procedures within the business. As COO you will be the senior manager responsible for the performance of the business on a day-to-day basis. In addition to the traditional COO responsibilities, a key aspect of this role is that the holder will also be responsible for all business development and client relationship management. The COO role heads up the MasonBreese Senior Management Team.


Maintaining control of diverse business operations, the COO is expected to be an experienced and effective leader. You will have excellent people skills and strong business acumen with a high level of commercial awareness. The primary objective of the COO is to oversee the successful growth and evolution of MasonBreese as we continue an exciting period of growth.


Skills required

Proven experience in a Chief Operating Officer role, or equivalent. It would be a significant advantage if this experience has been gained in the Consulting sector. Your other skills and experience include:



- Understanding of business functions such as Sales, HR, Finance, Marketing etc

- Have successfully managed a P&L for a significant department or entire business

- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics

- Proven experience in strategic planning and business development

- Excellent organisational and leadership abilities


- Good understanding of the consulting landscape in Jersey

- Experience of growing an SME


Please note that you will need to be entitled to work in the UK or Jersey. A certain amount of travel may be required.
