CSR Statement

At MasonBreese we are committed to being a responsible corporate citizen and to contributing positively to society.

We are committed to adding tangible, social value to both the communities we work in and within our business.  We believe that business success goes hand in hand with ethical practices, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship.

Our mission is to be a consultant of choice in our markets, to be an employer of choice for diverse talent, and to be a role model in our community.   We demonstrate our values throughout the work we undertake with our clients, the way we manage our business and in the way we lead our people.

Our CSR initiatives are guided by the following principles:

Sustainable Business Practices:

We have a sustainable supplier’s policy and have measured and mitigated our environmental impact across Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. We engage with our local stakeholders to support charities and pro bono projects.

Ethical Standards and Governance:

From day one our focus has been on training and building a team driven by our core values. We uphold the highest ethical standards in all aspects of our business, promoting integrity, honesty, and transparency.

We maintain effective governance practices, ensuring accountability, responsible decision-making, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Community Engagement:

We are passionate about making valuable contributions to our local community and we recognise our role in providing support to others in our community.

We do this by training, sourcing, and providing skilled consultants, the majority of which are based in Jersey. We invest heavily in our people at every stage of their career, and this helps grow skills within the local economy.

We are the lead sponsor of Highlands University College Jersey supporting the college and its students.  Our Change Academy initiative is a two-year tailored programme which supports candidates in achieving professional accreditations from globally recognised industry award bodies, further growing the pool of change management skills on the island.

Employee Well-being and Development:

Our people are important to us. We value our employees as our most valuable asset and strive to provide a safe, inclusive, supportive and enjoyable work environment.

We promote employee well-being, work-life balance, professional growth, and opportunities for skill development.

We are a Living Wage employer for all individuals within our value chain.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

We collaborate with our stakeholders at every level and sustainability in particular, has been a key consideration as our business has continued to grow. We actively work with our customers, suppliers, employees, and local communities, to address shared challenges and opportunities.

We actively seek feedback, listen to concerns, and foster open dialogue to ensure our CSR initiatives align with stakeholder expectations.

As a test of our Environmental Social and Governance credentials MasonBreese has applied for B Corp accreditation. We believe that this the highest level of externally audited Environmental, Social and Governance accreditation available for “for profit” enterprises. We have learnt a huge amount from the process so far and it underlines our commitment to strive to grow our business in line with our values.
