Head of Operations

Position Summary

The role of Head of Operations will oversee the organisational effectiveness of MasonBreese as well as being responsible for the ongoing operational processes and procedures within the business. As Head of Operations you will be the senior manager responsible for the performance of the business on a day-to-day basis, reporting directly to the Board of Directors.

The Head of Operations will ensure MasonBreese is compliant with all appropriate legislation in the jurisdictions in which we operate (Jersey, UK, Isle of Man, Switzerland).

The role holder will lead MasonBreese’s Senior Management team, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. The role will require excellent people skills, a strong business acumen and a high level of commercial awareness.

The primary objective of the role is to oversee the successful growth and evolution of all internal functions and business management within MasonBreese.

The key job functions for the Head of Operations role are:

• Operational efficiency: responsible for internal business policies/processes, risk management, operations manuals and all aspects of day-to-day administration.

• Finance: responsible, with the assistance of the Finance Director, for MasonBreese Financials – Budgets, Accounting and Reporting, with a focus on profitability.

• Governance: ensuring MasonBreese has a robust and effective governance structure in place.

• People: delivering appealing and engaging policies and procedures to support the attraction and retention of great people.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Implement business strategies, plans and procedures (Operations)

• Establish policies that promote company culture and vision (People, Organisational Development)

• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication (People)

• Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics (Finance)

• Write and submit reports to the Board of Directors in all matters of importance, plus provide regular business reporting, including financials and other key metrics (Governance)

• Manage contracts with partners/vendors across all jurisdictions (Operations)

Position Specifications Essential

• Proven experience in a senior operations role, or equivalent. It would be a significant advantage if this experience has been gained in the Consulting sector

• Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Risk etc

• Have successfully managed a P&L

• Working knowledge of organisational performance/operation metrics

• Excellent organisational and leadership abilities

• Aptitude in decision making and problem solving

• A track record of continuous personal development

Desirable

• Good understanding of the consulting landscape in each of MasonBreese’s markets

• Experience of growing an SME

• Educated to post-graduate level would be an advantage

Head of Client Services

Position Summary

The role of Head of Client Services is to be the primary interface between MasonBreese and our existing/potential clients. You will be the senior manager responsible for all external relations, engagements and placements, reporting directly to the Board of Directors.

The holder will also be responsible for all business development, client relationship management, marketing, sponsorship and the positive projection of the MasonBreese brand across each of the markets that we operate within (Jersey, UK, Isle of Man, Switzerland).

You will be an excellent relationship manager with strong people skills, excellent business acumen and a high level of commercial awareness.

The primary objective of the Head of Client Services is to ensure MasonBreese continues to offer a first-class service to our clients, broadens and deepen these existing client relationships, whilst developing new ones in each of our core markets.

The key job functions for the Head of Client Services role are:

• Placements: Ensure that we continue to provide our clients with suitable candidates for the consultancy roles they require. Work closely with the Head of Operations to ensure we are attracting candidates with the skills that match our client’s needs.

• CRM: Overall responsibility for the MasonBreese client relationship management approach for business growth.

• Business Development: Responsible for the MasonBreese Business Development Strategy, the primary client relationship owner and actively contribute to the growth of MasonBreese’s existing client base.

• Marketing: Manage the MasonBreese marketing and sponsorship strategy, ensuring positive brand awareness and a return on investment. Overall responsibility for the MasonBreese social media strategy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Primary contact for all MasonBreese’s key client relationships (Relationship Management)

• Oversee the hiring of talented individuals with the appropriate skillsets (People)

• Deliver a consistent and high-quality external presence in each of our markets, ensuring positive brand awareness (Marketing)

IT Project Manager

MasonBreese Switzerland is looking for talented people to join our growing consultancy business. We are currently looking for an IT Project Manager.

A solid IT Application management and implementation background is essential, and experience with storage platforms, both virtual and on-premise, would be key.

Knowledge and experience of:

- Demonstrable Project Management experience and preferably Agile or Prince 2 qualified

- Strong ability and experience in stakeholder interaction and management, including third party management

- Data Architecture and Security

- Team and Workstream management

- Utmost is a willingness to lead, contribute and take responsibility.

- Fluency in English and German.

Digital Manager Role

MasonBreese Digital (MBD) is a division of MasonBreese, offering consultancy services in the Digital arena, including data strategy, analytics, robotics process automation (RPA), and end to end OCR document digitisation solutions.

Position Summary

The role of the Digital Manager is to support the Head of MBD with the continued development and rollout of a digital client offering. Overseeing a team of business and data analysts and automation consultants developing solutions and delivering products and services to client companies, the Digital Manager is expected to have a sound technical background, including knowledge of data analytics, data visualisation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and workflow solutions. You will be an experienced leader and have excellent people skills.

The key job functions for the role are:

1. People: Work closely with and oversee a team of technical subject matter experts in the development and delivery of the MBD products and services.

2. Strategy: Assist in the creation and management of the overall MB Digital Strategy, including a roadmap of new products and services to roll out to client companies.

3. Products: Identification of opportunities and development of new products using digital technologies.

4. Business Development: Assist in the BD of MBD by developing new client relationships through contacts and networks as well as actively contributing to growth of existing client base through cross selling.

5. Delivery: Oversee the delivery and execution of the MBD products and services to client companies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and build on the current MD team ensuring it has capability and capacity to deliver the MBD products and services to client companies.

• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance, dedication and learning.

• Work alongside the Head of MBD on the development and implementation of the digital strategy offering.

• Manage relationships with partners/vendors.

• Work alongside the Head of MBD on business development building relationships across all sectors and look for cross sell opportunities of MasonBreese products.

• Oversee the development and implementation of MBD products and services to client companies.

• Assist in the preparation of MBD budgets and tracking against these.

• Assist in the regular reporting to the MasonBreese Board of MD products and services, including financials and other sales and performance key metrics.

Position Specifications

Essential

• Extensive business and IT/Technical experience, preferably within the Finance Industry.

• Experience in data analytics, business intelligence and/or automation technologies.

• Accredited in at least one or more analytical and automation tools for example a Robotics Process Automation platform.

• Good understanding of data management, data security and governance as well as cyber security.

• Project Management experience.

• Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.

• Aptitude in decision making and problem solving.

Preferable

• Developer experience.

• Proven experience in strategic planning and business development.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification.

• Project Management qualification.

• Accreditation in an automation tool for example UiPath, Alteryx or Blue Prism.

• Microsoft Azure

Other specific desirable skills

• Competent user of Microsoft suite of products (incl. Excel and Power BI).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
