Operations Manager

Position Summary

The role of Operations Manager will manage the organisational effectiveness of MasonBreese together with authorising responsibility within the business.

The Operations Manager will work with the Head of Operations to ensure MasonBreese is compliant with all appropriate legislation in the jurisdictions in which we operate (Jersey, UK, Isle of Man, Switzerland).

The primary objective of the role is to support the Head of Operations with the successful growth and evolution of all internal functions and business management within MasonBreese.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring Operational policies, processes and procedures are adhered to
  • Assisting the Head of Operations with the production and implementation of policies, procedures and processes
  • Managing contracts with clients and partners/suppliers across all jurisdictions
  • Managing payroll and invoicing
  • Other duties and responsibilities in relation to finance, credit control, Human Resources etc.

Position Specifications


  • Proven experience in either Operations, a Managerial role, or an individual in a senior administration role looking for the next step up
  • Good understanding and experience of at least one or more business functions such as HR, Finance, Procurement, IT and Governance and Risk
  • Excellent people slills


  • A background in either procurement/contracts, or in Human Resources
  • Familiar with the pressures of a fast-paced demanding role
  • Excellent organisational abilities with a positive attitude and the ability to spin many plates
  • Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Good understanding of the consulting landscape in each of MasonBreese’s markets
  • Experience of using Xero or another similar cloud-based accounting software
  • Experience of using PeopleHR or a similar cloud-based HR software
